Constructor Detail

MListCellRenderer

public MListCellRenderer()
Constructs a new MListCellRenderer

Method Detail

getListCellRendererComponent

public java.awt.Component getListCellRendererComponent(javax.swing.JList list,
                                                       java.lang.Object value,
                                                       int index,
                                                       boolean isSelected,
                                                       boolean cellHasFocus)
Get the component to display the list cell for the given value and properties.

Returns:
the component to display the list cell for the given value and properties.

setValue

protected void setValue(java.lang.Object value)
Sets the underlying JLabel's text property using Format if defined. If the value is null, it will set it to an empty String (""). If the property is defined (not null or blank), it will retrieve the value for that property, and display it.

Parameters:
value - to convert/format to String and store in the JLabel

setupFormat

protected void setupFormat()
Tries to applies the formatPattern to the format. This only occurs if the format and formatPattern are not null, and the format is an instance of MessageFormat, SimpleDateFormat, ChoiceFormat, or DecimalFormat.

setFormat

public void setFormat(java.text.Format newFormat)
Sets the format for this renderer which is used by setValue to format values.

Parameters:
newFormat - the format for this renderer which is used by setValue to format values.

getFormat

public java.text.Format getFormat()
Sets the format for this renderer which is used by setValue to format values.

Returns:
the format for this renderer which is used by setValue to format values.

setFormatPattern

public void setFormatPattern(java.lang.String newPattern)
Sets the format pattern for this renderer which is used by setValue to format values.

Parameters:
newPattern - the format pattern for this renderer which is used by setValue to format values.

getFormatPattern

public java.lang.String getFormatPattern()
Gets the format pattern for this renderer which is used by setValue to format values.

Returns:
the format pattern for this renderer which is used by setValue to format values.

setDisplayPropertyName

public void setDisplayPropertyName(java.lang.String newDisplayPropertyName)
Set the property name of the given value to display. If the property name is null or blank, then value itself will be displayed.

Parameters:
newDisplayPropertyName - the property name of the given value to display.

getDisplayPropertyName

public java.lang.String getDisplayPropertyName()
Get the property name of the given value to display. If the property name is null or blank, then value itself will be displayed.

Returns:
the property name of the given value to display.
